Bangkok Lesbian — Updated
This website is worth its (virtual) weight in gold for any lesbian visiting Bangkok who wants to check out the local dyke scene. Written by an ex-pat New Yorker now living in Bangkok, this site has the 411 on everything lesbian in the city. To boot, the site also provides maps to the lesbian bars, which is extremely helpful (to say the least… you’ll understand when you arrive in Bangkok) for visitors. Cee, the founder of the site, also runs a popular lesbian social group for both ex-pats and locals living in Bangkok that has more than 300 members.
Dreaded Ned
Good general overview of gay Thailand. Most of the content is for men, but since a lot of foreign lesbians go to men’s bars, it’s worth a look. It also has lots of details about popular restaurants, which is also helpful.
Utopia
Utopia has a great website and book series for pretty much all of gay and lesbian Asia. This is their link to Bangkok for lesbians. Some information is dated, so always try to check to make sure places are open before heading over to them. Otherwise, you’ll find some great information here.
