This is definitely one of the better city-run LGBT websites. Lots of info about local associations, bars and events.
Dallas Gay and Lesbian Alliance
“The mission of Dallas Gay and Lesbian Alliance is to advocate full civil rights, dignity, and self-respect for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals by educating, creating social and political change, and fighting discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity & expression, in order to achieve the full participation of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in society.”
Dallas Tavern Guild
A gay and lesbian association bringing together local bars and clubs. Not only do they promote LGBT life in Dallas, they also work together for fundraising and events. The website has great links about local gay life in Dallas.
Get Some Pride
A super-helpful monthly calendar of queer goings-on in Dallas. This is especially useful for finding out where and when the next “Chick Happy Hour” (see our bar and club listings) event is taking place.
North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce
Great listing of LGBT owned and operated companies. This organization also hosts regular networking events and produces a Dallas LGBT map and guide that’s super-useful for visitors.
Resource Center of Dallas
Like everything in Texas, this is of the largest gay and lesbian community centers in the America. They’ve got more than 40 paid staff and 1000+ volunteers. They host a number of local groups, but one of their biggest successes is gay bingo.
