Fort Lauderdale, USA
Resources & Information
Fort Lauderdale Visitors and Convention Bureau
The city of Ft. Lauderdale has long courted the gay traveler (make that the gay male traveler) and this is their local LGBT micro-site. Yes, it's very boy-centric (in fact, there's not a single woman shown on it....) and ignore the hotel listings because almost every "gay" one mentioned is only for men, but the section on "where to eat" and the general Ft. Lauderdale info can be helpful.
Gay and Lesbian Community Center of South Florida
An extremely busy LGBT community center with tons of activities geared especially towards women, from chat groups to sports teams. In June, 2008 the Center bought a huge piece of land in Wilton Manors and will be building a new mega-center there that's being referred to right now as "the campus". It's still not known what the move-in date will be.

Gay Ft. Lauderdale
This is a great website giving an all-over view of gay and lesbian Ft. Lauderdale.
Mark's List
A great place to check for all of the latest news of gay happenings in South Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and elsewhere). What's especially great about this site is that it's constantly updated and has tons of info, not just a scant line or two.
Rainbow Alliance
A pretty good website highlighting everything gay and lesbian for a number of South Florida destinations.
South Florida LesBiGay Women
Wow, an excellent resource to keep on top what what's happening for women in South Florida! They've got a great calendar of events, host their own get-togethers, review books and movies and so much more.
