Lesbian Health Initiative of Houston
Non-profit, volunteer organization that promotes promote womens' health in the LGBT community. They offer all kinds of health-related services and have a monthly general meeting. Their fund-raisers throughout the year are considered some of the more important events on the local lesbian scene.
The Houston GLBT Community Center
Open Monday-Friday, noon to 9:00 p.m., the Community Centre offers tons of social and support resources and hosts dozens of meetings and events. Great place to find out what’s happening in the local LGBT community.
