This is Florida’s state-wide LGBT publication, with a strong focus on Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. You will find a bit of Key West info, but you definitely have to look for it.
Gir(L) Magazine
Small, South Florida lesbian monthly available free in queer spots around Miami. Heavy on the advertising, there is a helpful listing of lesbian-friendly establishments in different Florida locales at the back of the mag.
Key West Gay Rag
This is Key West’s only LGBT publication, published monthly. But don’t be fooled by the “LGBT” tag. In reality it’s very heavy on the boys, with only a little bit of lesbian content included in their printed material and none online.
She Magazine
Yes, a second South Florida lesbian glossy available around town. Around for nine years already, this magazine is a lot more complete than Gir(L) and is strong on full features and articles. The print version offers waaaay more info than the website, so try to pick up a copy.
Travel Host Key West Magazine
You’ll find this publication distributed free in most hotels and guesthouses. It provides a great overview of the Keys, but what’s especially interesting is that it’s lesbian-owned and operated and they’ve included a special “Pink Pages” section highlighting gay and lesbian Key West, with a full calendar of events.
