Café Sole
An exceptional French restaurant headed up by award-winning chef John Correa. It’s a tiny spot, but try to eat on the outdoor patio, with its glass roof and outdoor heaters that make it amazingly comfy, even in cooler January weather.

Camille's Restaurant
Located just around the corner from Pearl’s Rainbow (see lodging), Camille’s welcomes a constant stream of patrons who stay at the lesbian resort. Even though the décor is nothing special, the food and service are both great.

Louie’s Backyard
Key West has an absolutely gorgeous sunset and one of the best places to watch it happen is on the outdoor patio of Louie’s Backyard. Located in an out-of-the way spot, the restaurant is a bit hard to find, but it’s worth the effort searching it out. If you’re on a tighter budget, I’d suggest a lunchtime visit though as this is a pretty pricey establishment.

Rooftop Café
Key West’s oldest gay owned-and-run café, the Rooftop overlooks the majestic Mallory Square. A great spot for breakfast or lunch, it’s especially nice for an evening drink at sunset.

Sarabeth’s
This is the Key West outlet of the New York classic, serving up hearty servings of classic American dishes. Sunday brunch is especially popular, but lunch and dinners are also pretty busy. You can also pick up Sarabeth’s famous preserves, cakes and cookies here.

Square One
For some solid, classic, slightly upscale American cuisine, you can’t go wrong with Square One. From t-bones to duck to lamb, Square One goes back to the basics with hearty servings of well-prepared meals served in a romantic setting (the piano playing in the background helps with that too!)
