Excalibur
One of the cheaper hotels on the strip, I’d really only suggest Excalibur if you’re a lesbian mom with kids. If that’s your case, this medieval-themed hotel is a great gay-friendly and family-friendly property from the MGM Mirage chain.

Luxor
Located next door to the Mandalay Bay, the Luxor also has a fairly faithful queer following, especially following their recent renovations. It was also the first hotel on the strip to host a lesbian party during Pride in 2008. Shaped like a big, black pyramid, it’s slightly surreal from the inside, and worth checking out even if you’re not staying there.

Mandolay Bay
A true favorite with the homos, its’ nickname is “Mandalay Gay”. One of the most upscale hotels owned by MGM Mirage properties, rooms here are sleek yet comfortable. Because it’s so nice, it’s also very busy, especially on the weekends. This means you may end up waiting 10 minutes for the elevator to get to your room. Don’t let that put you off staying here though, because it really is one of the best hotels on the strip, with an excellent collection of restaurants including the lesbian-owned Border Grill, Wolfgang Puck's Trattoria del Lupo, Aureole, Fleur de Lys, Red Square, Mix and China Grill.

MGM Grand
MGM Mirage properties own about ¾ of all of the hotels on the strip, and this is their signature hotel. In recent years a number of MGM hotels have really reached out to gay and lesbian travelers, and done an excellent job marketing themselves to us. The Grand is a comfortable, upper middle-range hotel that yes, has a big gold lion like MGM studios, but doesn’t go over-the-top thematic like New York-New York.

Paris
It may look kinda cheesy from the outside with its replica Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, but make no mistake, this is one of the most lesbian-friendly hotels in Vegas. The Paris has actively courted lesbians with great marketing created just for us, a rarity for any hotel. They even hosted a lesbian cocktail party during the 2008 International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association conference, which took place in Vegas. Inside you’ll find French-inspired hotel rooms (think armoires instead of closets) and several bistro-style restaurants.

Treasure Island
A good middle-range hotel that works if you’re traveling with or without kids. Yes, it’s got a bit of a pirate theme going on, but it’s not overwhelming like Excalibur or Circus Circus and it stops as soon as you get out of the casino. Treasure Island is also TAG approved, making that extra effort to attract the LGBT clientele.

Wynn
If you want to go truly top-end in Vegas, this is a great option. Owner Steve Wynn has sprinkled his multi-million dollar art collection throughout the property, and yes, if you were feeling a little crazy and wanted to splurge on a Maserati, they’ve got a dealer on-site. With huge flat-screen televisions, incredibly spacious rooms, seriously luxurious bathrooms (hey, there’s a flat screen tv there too!), and every other high-end amenity, this is a top notch stay.
