Other Fun Stuff
Carnival Divine Burlesque
A bit burlesque, a bit fetish, a bit kink, a bit gay, a bit straight, a bit of everything!
Female Trouble
“Female Trouble is a group of like-minded feisty females from Manchester, UK. Inspired by our favourite grrrl discos and distros, we plan to host fundraisers for female-focused charities and host some amazing gigs and club nights.”
Fun For Females
“The only UK sex party organized exclusively by women for lesbian and bisexual women. Places as ever are strictly limited, and we sell out weeks in advance for each party. We always turn disappointed girls away who try to book too late!” These parties happen in London and Manchester, so make sure you book the right one!
Imperial War Museum
O.K., maybe we can’t really call this fun, but it’s definitely interesting and also important for the local queer community. Every summer the War Museum hosts a special exhibit to celebrate Pride, but throughout the year they also have a permanent exhibit about gays in the military and an excellent section on women and war.
Trafford Wharf
The Quays, Manchester

Laughing Cows Comedy
A monthly women’s stand-up comedy night. Not necessarily lesbian, but definitely queer-positive with occasional lesbian performers.
Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus
“We are a friendly and diverse group of 70+ active members, and welcome anyone 18+ who identifies with the LGBT community to join us.”
Manchester Prairie Dogs
No matter where you go in the world, it seems you’ll always find a gay and lesbian country line dancing club, so here’s the Manchester edition!
Out in the Past Heritage Train (1st Saturday of the month)
Here’s your perfect opportunity to take a walking tour of the history of gay Manchester. I loved this tour, especially to hear about the bars where Dusty Springfield used to cuddle in the corner with her girlfriend in the 1960's. The walk starts at 3 p.m. and you just have to meet outside of the tourist info booth at St. Peter’s Square.
