Restaurants & Cafes
Eden
A popular restaurant with the ladies that serves up a bit of everything, so all can be pleased, from lamb shank to Thai green curry. The location just off of Canal St. makes this a great place to have a bite before heading out for the evening.

Lounge 10
Definitely one of the more glamorous spots for a bite to eat in Manchester, Lounge 10 is all about glittering chandeliers, cozy banquettes, a Moulin Rouge inspired décor and some of the most provocative art you’ll ever see in a restaurant (imagine oil paintings of group sex scenes where everybody’s getting it on with everybody else, regardless of gender).
10 Tib Lane

Taurus
Yes, this may be a restaurant, but many also see it as a real queer community centre. Located in the heart of the Village, many local queer groups meet up here and there’s even a small theatre in the basement. As to the food itself, think seafood and steak, served up with a smile.

That Café
Located slightly outside of the Manchester city centre, That Café’s chef Alison Eason serves up slightly higher end meals in both the main restaurant and the bar. The jazz nights are also fun.
1031 Stockport Rd.
Levenshulme, Manchester
Velvet Bar
In reality, this listing could go in a bunch of places: restaurants, bars or hotels, because it’s all that and more. This glam spot originally started off as an upscale resto, but then spread its wings to add a cool lounge space and a very well respected B+B. All glitzy and gilt, this is a perfect spot for a meal or a pre-clubbing cocktail.

Villaggio
A fairly large spot spread over two floors in the heart of the Village, Villaggio serves simple and hearty Italian cuisine at nice, inexpensive prices! Probably the least expensive meal around the gayborhood.
