Good food, but it's not that gay/lesbian. I like their selection of hot sauces and toppings

Michael's Genuine Food and Drink
Located in the Atlas Plaza, in the heart of Miami's Design District, Michael’s offers unpretentious, yet satisfying dishes at fair prices. With lots of homemade and organic fare on the menu, Michael’s is a fave with locals and tourists alike. News Café
This 24-hour bar/restaurant/café/news stand is a South Beach institution, renowned more for people watching from the patio as compared to great cuisine. The News Café has a bit of notoriety in its past as this is where Gianni Versace stopped to pick up an Italian newspaper just minutes before being assassinated on the steps of his nearby mansion back in 1997.

Palace Bar and Grill
Just finished a day of lounging and checking out the cuties at the 12th street beach and now you’re feeling puckish? The Palace Bar and Grill is there for you. This totally queer resto located right across the street from the gay beach serves up simple meals like burgers, salads and sandwiches.

Spiga
This is the house restaurant of the Hotel Impala, but you don’t have to be a hotel guest to enjoy the resto. Spiga has a regular gay clientele, lured in by both the Italian specialties and the lovely outdoor patio.

Tantra
For all of you “Top Chef” fans, you may remember the out lesbian contestant Sandee Birdsong from season three. Even though she didn’t win the competition, she is still recognized as a fab chef and total dykon. You can taste some of her original recipes at Tantra in South Beach where she serves as Executive Chef. This is an exotic and pricey spot though, so be prepared to shell out the big bucks for your dining adventure.
