One of the fun things about living around New York City is that you can celebrate Pride over and over again. Since it’s in Dyke Slope, you can count on a fair amount of lesbians at this Pride celebration.
Coney Island Mermaid Parade
Jun 19, 2010
This really isn’t an official gay event in any way, shape or form, but so many homos, both men and women, would rather hit this parade than the official Pride parade which often takes place at the same time. It’s over-the-top camp followed by a post-parade ball with burlesque performances and other sideshow acts.
