Arizona Gay Volleyball
Even though men seriously outnumber the women, there are still a number of gals who participate in the league.
Cactus City Softball League
A hugely popular gay and lesbian slow pitch softball league. Obviously you can’t just show up and play, but if you’re trying to find where the lesbians are in Phoenix, just show up and cheer from the bleachers!
Dame Juliana Anglers
Named for the grand dame of fly fishing, Juliana Anglers, who wrote the first treatise on fly fishing in 1946. This women-only group meets on the first Tuesday of the month and organizes other events as well. Expect to meet women who've never held a fishing rod to those who've reeled in some whoppers. All women are welcome.
Desert Adventures
An LGBT hiking, camping and outdoors club that’s been around for almost 30 years now! A great way to become involved is by joining in on their weekly Sunday morning hike.
League of Our Own
A women-only, (mainly) lesbian bowling league that plays every week. To participate you must become a member of a team.
Phoenix Hellraisers
An LGBT flag football league. Even though there are waaay more men than women, all are welcome.
Phoenix Sunfish
The city’s gay and lesbian aquatics club holds open practices four days a week. Newcomers are always welcome and the first visit is free.
Sunday Women Golfers
These gals meet up on the first Sunday of the month and play at various golf courses around the valley. You can choose your own foursome or pair up with new faces.
