I have been a proud out lesbian for 20 years and I can't help but be truly offended by lesbian organizations who use the word Dyke in any way shape or form. It is not cute or innocent. Many times I have heard that word and it has never been for someone showing support. It's about time we as lesbians start respecting ourselves and stop using such a foul and degrading word.
