Resources & Information
Lesbian Institute For Lesbians
Yes, the name does sound a bit redundant, but this organization works to improve the daily lives of lesbians in Korea. Their website is available in English and Korean, but the English part hasn’t been updated since 2004, though the organisation is absolutely up and running.
Seoul Sisters
This is an amazing group of mainly ex-pat lesbians (and their Korean friends) who meet up at least twice a month in Seoul for all kinds of outings: dinners, clubbing, and tourist visits. This is the only group for English-speaking lesbians in the city (they’ve recently started up another group in South Korea’s second largest city, Busan, also known as Pusan.) Join their email list for more info or check out their website for the most up-to-date dyke info on Seoul. They also encourage lesbian visitors to Seoul to get in contact with them beforehand to see if they can help you out.
Solidarity for LGBT Human Rights of Korea
Community group fighting for equal rights for the local LGBT community. They also sponsor a number of lesbian events or groups such as the Lesbian Art Archive.
Utopia
Utopia is a great gay and lesbian travel site with information for all of Asia. I've included their link to all things lesbian in Seoul.
