About

Free LGBT monthly that tries to give a fair shake to the lesbians.  What’s interesting about this mag is that it’s generally longer articles and advertisements.  No club listings, no sex personals, just some interesting reporting and ads for clubs and upcoming events.  Distributed free around the village.

Fab Magazine

Glossy LGBT mag full of club listings (though it's a lot more "G" than anything else).  Online they have excellent listings for upcoming events, but no general club info.

NOW Magazine

Very gay-friendly weekly alternative magazine.  Given out free at stores/coffee shops/theatres/galleries etc. around town.  In their events section, they put a little triangle next to an announcement to indicate that it’s a queer party.  Helpful both in print and online.

Xtra!

Toronto’s main LGBT newspaper, printed every other Thursday and available free in homo-positive spots around the city as well as in newspaper boxes around the village.  This is a true newspaper with well-written articles along with all of your fun club listings.  Even though the print edition is more informative than the online edition,  you can still get great info on upcoming events on their website.
