Acsexxxable
The Acsexxxable Working Group is a collective of people with disabilities and their allies who promote and create sex-positive spaces. We are creating politicized spaces that value bodies, identities and experiences that are typically excluded from sex-positive spaces and generally sexually oppressed. This is a polysexual group, welcoming all genders and sexualities.
Action Grrrlz
Calling itself a grrrlie network, these gals get together once a month at the 519 to work on all kinds of projects, from knitting to writing to zine publishing.
Fer Da Gals
A social group and online community for the local 50+ lesbian set. Their website is a great resource for what’s happening around town and it also includes a wonderful herstory of lesbian Toronto dating back to the 1940s that is definitely worth a read.
Franco Queer
Social group for French speakers in Toronto. The group holds a monthly meet-up in the gay village and hosts a number of other events throughout the year.

GLAD (Gays and Lesbians of African Descent)
Very well organized support and social group for all queers of African descent. Founded by Nairobi born Kenyan Patricia Wanjiru Koine in 2000, GLAD organizes regular meet-ups and announces other events of interest to the community.
Kulanu Toronto
This is the local Jewish LGBT association, and they do tons of stuff throughout the year. Of particular interest to the ladies is the Kulanu Womyn's Stitch 'n Kvetch group.
Lesbian Mums
The mums and their tots meet up on the last Saturday of every month for their Family Lunch at the 519 community centre (see "Information & Resources") A great opportunity for mums to get together for fun and support.

Salaam Canada
Toronto’s Muslim LGBT group. Visitors are welcome to their regular discussion meetings at the 519, but they also hold one-off events like the Salaam Women’s/Trans brunch. Check website for dates and details.
The 519 Women's Group
Monthly lesbian and bissexual discussion and support group for women of all ages, though generally women over 20.

Women for Recreation, Information and Business
WRIB provides a social, business, and networking environment for lesbians, bisexual, trans women with common goals and interests. They do dances, sports, brunches, hiking, even Olivia cruises. A bit more of a professional women’s group.
