Also known as the Mix Club, I think the Lick name pretty much says it all. This is Vancouver’s one and only regular lesbian bar, open Thursday through Saturday. On the plus side though, they hold some kick-ass performance and dance parties, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

WET and BURN parties
Short for Women Empowering Together, WET is one of the rare lesbian play parties in North America. These women-only sex events happen a few times a year, but they’re quite popular. Cute girls wander around playing hostess for the evening to make the ladies feel more comfortable in this “harem-like” environment offering everything from a dungeon to a pedicure station to ensure kinky, playful fun. BURN offers much of the same, but in a more dancey frame of mind.
