Gay and Lesbian Business Association of British Columbia
Province-wide gay and lesbian chamber of commerce, based out of Vancouver. This is a very organized chamber of commerce that holds regular events, seminars and the annual Red Dress Ball. Sign up to be on their mailing list and you’ll get the rundown of most of the big events happening around Vancouver.

An excellent community directory with full listings of nightlife, events, gay-friendly businesses and more.
Gayvan
This is actually a gay travel marketing company, but they also believe in giving back to the community. Each year Gayvan publishes two pamphlets; Gay Friendly Vancouver - In Town Guide and the Gay Friendly Canada Guide, which are available in homo haunts around the city. Their website also provides a wealth of information, including a lesbian overview.
LaLaLez
A brand-new resource that hopes to bring together everything lesbian in Vancouver. The site is still in it's Beta testing phase, but there are sections for events, community resources, neighbourhoods and more. Let's cross our fingers this develops into a great one-stop Vancouver lesbian info site.
Lesbian Quarterly
This was originally a printed publication, but is now an online blog dedicated to everything lesbian in British Columbia- especially Vancouver. This is an amazing resource! Easy to read, full of useful information and actually kept up-to-date! Their calendar is an absolute life-saver.
Superdyke
The premiere listing of lesbian happenings in and around Vancouver. Excellent information and cheeky fun too! Lots of event and business listings…. And they were recently looking for girls who wanted to be L Word extras.
Vancouver Gay and Lesbian Centre
The city’s LGBT drop-in community centre. It’s also home to Out on the Shelves, a LGBT lending library.
