The ladies love the Annex not only for its hipster environment, yummy martinis and good eats, but also for the events.  The Annex hosts open mic nights, comedy nights and musical extravaganzas to boot.

Charming, little tapas joint (and I do mean little) with an excellent selection of wines by the glass.  A popular haunt in the West End village.

Davie Village Cafe

Totally cozy restaurant in the heart of Davie Village.  Great patios in the summer and nice'n warm inside during the winter months.  And if you're into drag, they offer a drag show every Monday night.

I was at the DVC and had a great time, the natchos were the best and the staff were so hot and friendly. Best Martini list bar none.

End Café

Another habitual haunt for the lesbian set, the End Café is especially helpful for travelers with their free wifi access.  They’ve got a nice loungey feel and serve coffee, soups, fresh organic sandwiches, burgers, breakfast and desserts.  Every other Wednesday there’s an informal lesbian meet’n’greet you may want to keep your eyes open for.

JJ Bean House of Coffee

This is a popular coffee shop chain in Vancouver, but the one we’re interested in is the Commercial Drive edition.  Lovely place to relax with a tea or latte, JJ Bean was also featured in an episode of the L Word.

Jupiter Café

Popular with boys and girls of all persuasions, but you’ll usually find at least a couple of lesbians here.  Simple, slightly upscale fare, along with a good wine list and fab martinis make this a nice place for a bite.

Muzi Tea House

This used to be known as the Infuze Tea House, but a recent make-over included a slight name change.  Muzi is a sleekly designed space offering up the best in luxury teas and tisanes, and we know how much of a turn-on that is for the girls!

Rhizome Café

Opened in 2006 by longtime couple Lisa Moore and Vinetta Lenavat, Rhizome has become a home away from home for many in the local lesbian community.  Not only do they offer great food (weekend brunch is delish), but Rhizome is also a popular spot for artistic and cultural community events, celebrations and get-togethers.

Stella's

Stella's is all about the tapas and the beer (most especially their Belgian beers).  Lots of queer girls drop by for a bite or some liquid refreshment and Stella's has also been known to host a queer event or two. Weekend brunch is also popular
