Absolutely Badminton
Vancouver’s gay and lesbian badminton league. They play every Wednesday, September through May. Visitors are welcome to drop in and see if there’s a space available.
English Bay Swim Club
Vancouver's gay and lesbian Masters swim team. If you don’t want to miss your local practices while in Vancouver, drop by as visitors are always welcome.
Frontrunners
LGBT running and walking club. Meets at the water fountain at Brockton Oval in Stanley Park every Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. or Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. The official women's run is the first Wednesday of the month (though women participate at the other regular runs as well.) Visitors are welcome.
Meeting place is the lobby of the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown at the corner of Davie and Pacific Boulevard.

Mabel League
This lesbian league is the largest Women's D Division Fastpitch league in Western Canada. Even though visitors can’t play, they can certainly cheer on the teams and check out all the other dykes watching from the stands.
Out on the Green
Vancouver area LGBT golfing group, and they really push for the inclusion of lesbians. They hold weekly Wednesday afternoon games on the same course and bi-weekly games at various courses on Saturdays. Check website for dates and details.
Pacific Rim Yacht Club
LGBT yacht club has regular outings on long weekends from March to November. It isn’t a prerequisite that you own your own boat as there are limited crew positions available. Contact for more info.
Team Vancouver
The umbrella organization for a good number of Vancouver’s LGBT sports and recreation associations. Participant teams include badminton, beach volleyball, softball, tennis, even the triathalon!
Vancouver Outdoor Club for Women
Lesbian outdoors club with activities throughout the year like camping, hiking and picnics. Visitors are welcome, but they may have to pay the $20 annual membership fee… a total steal, especially with those Canadian dollars!
Vancouver Tennis Association
(VTA) is a non-profit tennis organization which fosters and promotes goodwill, fellowship, and healthy competition among tennis players in the gay and lesbian community. New members and drop-ins always welcome.
