Calling itself the "world's largest Pride Celebration for African-American lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, Atlanta Black Gay Pride is largely an indoor celebration centred around the year's host hotel.  All the same, about 35,000-40,000 people take part in the three-day weekend celebrations.

Rainbow March Late Sep, 2010 (TBA) Sapporo, Japan Pride
One of the smaller Japanese Pride parades (so that means only a couple thousand people) but still a blast all the same.  Lots of floats, marching bands, balloons and more.  This is also one of the longer running Japanese Prides, with the first celebration taking place in 1996.

Where April’s Pride parade opens the American Pride season, the Rainbows Festival is one of the celebrations to close it out.  This weekend party is held in Heritage Square Park and attracts upwards of 25,000 participants. This year the festival coincides with the annual AIDS walk, which should bring even greater participation to the event.

Atlanta Pride Late Oct, 2010 (TBA) Atlanta, USA Pride
Atlanta used to host their hot, sweaty pride in July, but in 2009 year they moved the party until the end of October! A three-day Pride weekend with a Parade, outdoor festivities and parties just for us girls.  To boot, there's the Atlanta Dyke March on the Saturday before the main Sunday pride march.
